Hi, I’m Sarah.
I see beauty everywhere I look, and have been this way since I was a small child. Design, for me, is just a way to harness that beauty, and make it accessible to all of us in our everyday lives.
I came about this career in a way some might describe as roundabout. My original plan, as a teenage college undergraduate in lovely Charlottesville, Virginia, was to become a history professor, and share my love of the subject with the future generation’s bright, young minds. Apparently, that young adult in me under estimated the impact that growing up one step behind my dad in my parent’s “shop” might impress upon me. In reality, adult me is happiest flipping through fabric books, rifling in boxes filled with beautiful wallpaper samples, and imagining furniture placements in my head just as I did as a child. My bag is eternally stocked with plenty of paint decks, and a trusty tape measure too. If you also see beauty everywhere you look, and strive for even more in your life; please join me on this adventure. Consider me your interior style guide. I think we’ll have some fun, don’t you?
